A Letter from Our Founders
We’re Alex and Efe, serial founders with a track record of turning clunky, complex processes into simple software.
We both have long family histories in shipping. In December 2024, a late-night conversation with Efe’s father-in-law, and the Managing Director of Yelken Shipping Agency, hit us with a simple, hard fact: his industry was still very bogged down in documentation, duplicate work and outdated systems.
Over the next few weeks we spoke with dozens of shipping agencies worldwide. Nearly every meeting came back to the same pain: slow, repetitive and manual processes piling onto an already complex, regulation-heavy and high-pressure job.
The answer to us was clear: the tools you use should work just as hard as you do. That’s why, in January 2025, we chose to focus exclusively on port call optimisation.
